The Medical Devices Manufacturer uses the software system SAP for all of their business management activities, including maintenance management. The maintenance management module of the system was seriously under-utilised prior to the project.

The aim of this project was to build a new rum distillery in the Caribbean. Based on the success of a previous project with the client, FDT were appointed to lead the process design and project management of the project up to the point of installation and commissioning of the new distillery.

The project objective was to re-design the CIP system for the post-virus inactivation part of a biopharmaceutical process with state-of-the-art equipment and practices and to standardise the approach to CIP monitoring and reporting for the client site, located in mainland Europe.

The aim of this project was to design a tank farm, tanker intake, filtration, blending system and associated supporting utilities to facilitate the expansion of a large whiskey producer’s operation.

The aim of this project was to build a new rum distillery in the Caribbean. Based on the success of a previous project with the client, FDT were appointed to lead the process design and project management of the project up to the point of installation and commissioning of the new distillery.

The aims of this project were to save 500,000 Hl of water per year by recovering water, to reduce cooling tower usage by optimising wort cooling and lastly to increase hot water heating capacity in the brewhouse.

The aims of this project were to deliver 2 x 1000 keg/hr filling lines, beer processing, and utilities which results in a greater than 90% O.E.E. World Class Packaging Facility.

This manufacturer produces approximately 910,000 Hl/Annum across a number of products. There is currently a PET line, bottling line and keg line in operation. The plant is however, reaching its’ maximum utility limit, which presents an opportunity for a further project.

A large brewing company wanted to change from using glucose and fructose in their brewing and cider making process to using only a single liquid sugar product on site which is sucrose.

In a large brewery, the existing process in the cellars area is predominantly carried out through a series of manual procedures. In the current setup routing between vessels and other parts of the plant is achieved using flexible hoses through the service block;

This project covered the installation of an economiser on the flue stack of the lead boiler in a large brewery. The boiler typically runs for 50 weeks of the year.  It is shut down for 1-2 weeks a year for an annual overhaul/service/ It is a 9,000 kg/hr boiler and it can be run unmanned for up to 72 hours.
